The opinions set out the claims.  The ones in these opinions are deficient in exactly the ways the taxing districts' counsel wanted.  The strong claims relating to the legitimate disputes people have regarding these government policies were disregarded.  Maybe there are innocent explanations . . . it's not like these lawyers supposedly representing the public's interests are stupid -- just the opposite.  


The obvious reason the WSBA won't take action against these counsel is that the Justices benefit (and acted inappropriately), and the Supreme Court is in charge of the WSBA so it doesn't want collusive claim civil prosecutions punished.
